“We have been members of Covenant for the past two years. We knew at our first visit that this was our church home. The messages preached match the way we live. It is a congregation built on truly doing the work of God. Being 600 miles from ‘home’ it is nice to be raising our family with our new church family here in Atlanta.”

About Us

Covenant Presbyterian Church is located on Peachtree Road in the Buckhead section of Atlanta, just two miles south of Lenox Square Mall. Our congregation has 200 members. We are proudly part of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

You will find many opportunities to experience faith, hope, and love in this community of seekers. Come and explore Christianity in an open and affirming congregation where all questions are honored and all people received.

Our Purpose

We believe in professing our faith through living it out. Covenant has a rich history of practicing a “mission of presence.” We work to develop long-term relationships, to listen, and to respond to the people in our sister communities in Atlanta and around the world – including our Haiti partnership on the island of LaGonave.

Our Story

We have been actively involved in the Atlanta community since we first opened our doors in 1902. Covenant has a long history of working toward social justice.

In the 1960s, our church advocated for civil rights and desegregation in Atlanta’s public school system. Today, Covenant champions for the rights of immigrants, the poor, and the marginalized wherever they are.
